As of May 1st, abortion in Florida is banned after 6 weeks. The law provides exceptions for fatal fetal diagnosis, to save the life of the patient, or for victims of reported rape, incest, or human trafficking, with added documentation in some instances.

Anti-choice extremists have attacked abortion access in the U.S. since the procedure became formally legalized nationwide in 1973.
