Abortion Funds

As of May 1st, 2024, abortion in Florida is banned after 6 weeks. The law provides exceptions for fatal fetal diagnosis, to save the life of the patient, or for victims of reported rape, incest, or human trafficking, with added documentation in some instances.

Some people in banned states are still accessing abortion care through travel, supported, or self-managed abortion.

Florida Access Network

Florida Access Network builds pathways for abortion access by advocating for reproductive justice, funding abortion care, and providing logistical support to make abortion access a reality.

Broward Women's Emergency Fund

BWMF provides small grants through the clinics they work with to help people cover the cost of surgical or medication abortion.

Women's Emergency Network

WEN provides financial assistance for abortion care and contraception directly through their partner clinics.

Tampa Bay Abortion Fund

TBAFund removes financial and logistical barriers to abortion access. They specifically assist pregnant people seeking abortion in Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties.

Emergency Medical Assistance Palm Beach

In 1975, Harriette Glasner formally organized EMA in West Palm Beach, Florida as the second abortion fund in the country. EMA was founded to help remove financial barriers to abortion and is today the only abortion fund in Palm Beach County.

ARC Southeast

ARC provides funding and logistical support to ensure Southerners receive safe and compassionate reproductive care including abortion services.
