Collective liberation includes everyone.
We cannot talk about bodily autonomy and collective liberation without speaking up for those whom we industrially exploit and slaughter. Farmed animals value their own lives as you value yours. They have complex relationships and emotions. It is no question to us that animals deserve our compassion and advocacy as well.
Our collective liberation depends on it.

Safe Havens For Pets

Safe havens are sheltering services that help individuals who are experiencing domestic violence place their companion animals out of harm’s way so that these individuals may seek safety for themselves. Entities included in the directory—which is continually refined and updated—provide sheltering services for the animals of domestic violence victims, have a relationship with an entity that does, or provide referrals to such facilities.

You could be the difference for some.
Veganism and animal rights seeks to reduce animal suffering as much as possible, but it goes beyond examining the ethics and treatment of animals and workers in our food, clothing, and entertainment. It is an anti-oppression movement that expands our understanding of what collective liberation would look like with different systems in place.
